Club Manager

This isn't a "behind-the-scenes" role. We need an energetic, cheerful elite operator who thrives on social interaction and finds peace in perfect organisation. You will be the face of the club, responsible for building a thriving Padel and Pickleball community, ensuring the courts are always buzzing, and maintaining our premium brand standards with total precision.

Key Responsibilities

Occupancy Specialist: Proactively design and launch social activities, "mix-ins," and intro clinics specifically tailored to the Canberra demographic (government, corporate, and active families) to maximize court usage.

Vibe Management: Infuse the club with high energy and a welcoming atmosphere. You are responsible for ensuring every member feels part of the Racquet Club family.

Local Integration: Leverage your knowledge of the Canberra community to build partnerships and increase the club’s local footprint.

Direct Supervision: Lead, recruit, and train on-site personnel (Front Desk, Operations, and Maintenance) to meet our gold standards.

Rostering: Manage the "Club House" roster to ensure optimal coverage during peak demand while strictly managing the operational budget.

Schedule Optimisation: Oversee weekly schedules for all coaches to ensure availability aligns with the busiest times for Canberra locals.

Accountability: Strictly validate casual staff sessions and monitor contracted hours to ensure maximum productivity and high-quality coaching.

Asset Control: Manage ball inventory and equipment maintenance with a methodical approach.

Facility Standards: Maintain rigorous cleanliness across Padel & Pickleball courts, lounge, pro-shop, change facilities, and recovery areas.

Daily Readiness: Conduct walkthroughs to ensure the club is spotless and 100% "member-ready" every single morning.

Maintenance: Coordinate routine repairs and ensure total OH&S compliance.

‍Financial Monitoring: Oversee all income streams (memberships, bar, merchandise) ensuring every sale is recorded with total accuracy.

Fortnightly Reporting: Prepare and deliver bi-weekly performance reports regarding KPIs, occupancy growth, and financial health.

Stock Precision: Manage Pro-Shop and Bar inventory through regular audits to minimize shrinkage.
