Sales & Events Coordinator
Racquet Club is Australia's leading racquet sports company, bringing world-class padel, pickleball and tennis experiences to clubs across the country. We're growing fast — and we're looking for a Sales & Events Coordinator to help drive that growth through corporate events, group bookings and school programs.
About the Role
We're after a driven, people-first Sales & Events Coordinator to own the full sales cycle for corporate and group events across our padel and pickleball clubs. You'll build relationships with local businesses, schools and community partners, fill our courts during off-peak hours, and make sure every event — from a corporate tournament to a kids camp — runs seamlessly from first enquiry to final wrap-up.
This role covers both padel and pickleball, with a rollout focus in this order: Canberra, then Gold Coast, then Sydney.
What You'll Do
Sales & Lead Generation
- Proactively sell corporate events and group bookings to local businesses, prioritising Canberra, then Gold Coast, then Sydney
- Build and manage a pipeline of corporate clients — from prospecting and proposals through to confirmed bookings
- Sell kids camps directly to schools, building relationships with school sport coordinators
- Respond to inbound enquiries with speed and warmth, converting them into confirmed bookings
Event Planning & Delivery
- Coordinate logistics, schedules and run sheets for corporate, social and tournament-style events
- Liaise with catering partners to put together the most competitive food & beverage packages
- Be the friendly face on the day — managing the flow of the event and troubleshooting in real time
- Coordinate court bookings, staff and coaches as needed
Off-Peak & Revenue Growth
- Identify and fill off-peak court time with corporate bookings, group sessions and other revenue-generating activity
- Track bookings and event records using our CRM and booking systems
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer-focused skills, including customer service and communication, with the ability to build rapport and respond professionally to diverse client needs
- Event planning and event management capabilities to coordinate logistics, schedules and on-site execution for social, corporate and tournament-style events
- Sales skills, including lead generation, proposal development and follow-up to secure bookings and meet event revenue targets
- Organisational and time-management abilities to handle multiple events, deadlines and stakeholder requirements simultaneously
- Proficiency with basic office software and booking or CRM systems; experience in hospitality, sports or events environments is an advantage
- Ability to work on-site, including occasional evenings and weekends as required by event schedules
- Relevant education or training in events, hospitality, business or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent experience will be considered
Why Join Us
- Be part of the fastest-growing racquet sports company in Australia
- Play a key role in shaping our corporate events business across multiple venues
- Competitive salary
