The Gold Coast Racquet Club is set to become one of Australia’s most exciting racquet sports venues. We are seeking a highly experienced and proven operator to oversee all aspects of the club’s performance, from day-to-day operations to long-term strategic growth.
This is a senior leadership position requiring a professional who can deliver excellence across hospitality, sport, and community, while maintaining the highest standards of operational discipline and commercial accountability.
Job Role
As Manager, you will take full responsibility for the smooth and profitable running of the Gold Coast Racquet Club. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will lead a diverse team, drive performance across all departments, and ensure the club sets a new benchmark for service and experience in the industry.
Further responsibilities include:
- Leading, managing, and developing a team of 10+ staff across coaching, club services, wellness, and operations.
- Overseeing all aspects of licensed venue management, including F&B and retail operations.
- Embedding best practice in health, safety, and compliance, ensuring a safe environment for staff and guests.
- Driving operational excellence across administration, scheduling, reporting, and financial management.
- Delivering on commercial targets and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Building a strong culture that reflects the club’s values and enhances member and guest experience.
About You
We are looking for a proven leader with the ability to manage complex operations and deliver consistent results. You will bring:
- 5–10 years of management experience in multi-site or large-scale venue operations.
- A strong track record of leading teams of a large staff across varied roles.
- Demonstrated success in licensed venue management.
- Expertise in health & safety management and risk compliance.
- Advanced administration and organisational skills with a reputation for precision and efficiency.
- Ideally, prior experience in sports complexes, new venue openings, and retail operations.
- A professional, confident leadership style and the ability to inspire trust at all levels.
